AEM Content Specialist

Under general supervision, AEM Content Specialist II supports product strategy, enhance, and maintain a digital product—an intranet system and employee portal. This role works on a cross-functional team to build and edit webpages, manage digital assets, contribute to search effectiveness, and build solutions for the business, ensuring the product aligns with business goals and delivers an exceptional employee experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap while keeping a pulse on company strategy, business ecosystem, department processes, and developing initiatives.
- Prototype, validate, and evaluate new ideas and troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Work with business segments to identify opportunities and areas of focus.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, provide recommendations, and drive alignment and execution.
- Maintain the product by building and updating webpages, managing digital assets and metadata, refining search results, performing content and keyword research to identify opportunities, applying security/personalization, enforcing standards and governance, and preparing webpage mockups.
- Create features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business requests, impact, and user feedback.
- Provide recommendations to departments on opportunities to create, update, retire, or redesign their documentation/content in the AEM intranet platform.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to create intuitive user experiences.
- Contribute to usability and user acceptance testing to gather insights for continuous improvement.
- Gather data and analytics to optimize features and workstreams, identify opportunities, manage content, and enhance user satisfaction.
- Identify metrics and benchmarks to drive decision-making and track performance.
- Establish and monitor authoring standards and expand and support author engagement by training authors and creating support materials.
- Contribute to improvement of team processes and workflow.

Qualifications
- This position requires a minimum of three years of experience.
- Proven work experience managing a digital platform or content management system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
- Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Digital Asset Manager (DAM), and Adobe Professional.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Figma, Copilot AI, Smartsheet, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, ServiceNow, and Snagit.
- Familiarity with HTML and SEO.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability are essential.
- Must be an outstanding team player with a positive attitude that works well in collaborative environments with all types of stakeholders (technical, non-technical, corporate, store, individual contributors, and leadership).
- Collaboration is a key ingredient for success, and recognizing dependencies across different functions and teams to coordinate efforts is critical.

- Strong attention-to-detail to execute tasks.
- Proven experience using data insights to improve features, find opportunities, manage content, and boost user satisfaction.
- Has consistently used key metrics for informed decision-making and tracking performance.
- Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional activities.
Educational Requirements
College degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Work Days
Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.
Work Hours
Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
