Under general supervision, develops, designs and executes comprehensive internal communication for delivery to both Corporate and Store employees. Plans content in support of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects and Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathers, researches, writes, edits and proofreads content for internal communication.
  • Determines internal communication needs; develops content and receives content from Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders.
  • Conveys consistent messaging of the ERP Strategy and Business Process.
  • Coordinates and disseminates communication materials, including but not limited to, training materials, project schedules, vendor/consultant templates and material to ensure consistency of message.
  • Coordinates, documents, maintains and tracks communication plans; determines method, timing and medium of internal communication based on message.
  • Coordinates OCM information flow and ensures accuracy between Knowledge Center and ERP / OCM communication initiatives.
  • Develops, maintains and communicates internal style book, templates (including presentations) update and/or changes; follows guidelines for internal communication.
  • Gathers and reports training data; identifies trends.
  • Coordinates logistics and content for Project Stakeholder awareness events and other activities.
  • Gathers information and compiles Change Readiness and Change Impact Reports.
  • Provides logistical support for internal initiative surveys.
  • Mentors Communication Specialist I.
  • Delivers high quality work, effectively and efficiently, through formal and informal channels.
  • Displays broad understanding of Company Culture.
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.
  • Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to ERP / OCM processes, procedures and Communication services.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • This position requires minimum of 3 years Communication, Project Administration and/or Office Administration experience.
  • Must be familiar with Company operational guidelines, practices, processes and culture.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work successfully within strict deadlines is necessary.
  • Outstanding writing and proofing skills with exceptional knowledge of grammar and punctuation is required.
  • Proven experience developing effective employee communication utilizing multiple communication platforms is needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships across the organization is crucial.
  • In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values is key.

 

Educational Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or GED. A Bachelor's Degree in journalism, digital culture, communication or related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.

 

Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

 

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime (more than forty hours per week) may be necessary.
