Under general supervision, the Construction Coordinator II coordinates construction scheduling and communication, including but not limited to, feasibility studies.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Orders feasibility studies including the recorded history of land, zoning, water pressure testing and other site investigation reports; summarizes information and distributes copies to stakeholders.
  • Prepares “Request for Quotes” (RFQs), reviews service agreements, and processes invoices for feasibility studies.
  • Creates and maintains feasibility files within electronic database.
  • Works with various cities, municipalities and outside consultants on a per project basis to ensure correct zoning and acceptance.
  • Creates and maintains feasibility project schedules; communicates with key stakeholders in legal and real estate.
  • Coordinates multiple projects and deadlines accurately.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex feasibility and/or other processing obstacles.
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Requires a minimum of 1 year real estate entitlement studies experience.
  • Construction or real estate experience in an office environment required.
  • Knowledge of Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and Geotechnical Reports beneficial.
  • Intermediate level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary. Visio preferred.
  • Real Estate Management Software knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is required. Also must be extremely organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing is necessary.
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
  • Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential. In addition, troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

Educational Requirements:

  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Additional college level administrative, computer or business related classes are beneficial.
  • Paralegal experience is preferred.


Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.


Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime (more than forty hours per week) may be necessary.
