Under general guidance, the Front End Web Developer II bridges the creative and technical aspects of web development to technically enable user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) designs. Works across a variety of platforms, frameworks, and front-end technologies. Develops websites and online applications, integrates code with additional systems, resolves code errors, and researches new technologies and solutions. Works with other designers and developers to conceive, research, design, and implement new website functionality and maintain existing website code.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uses established guidelines and checklists to test and audit learning content
  • Proofreads, edits and format checks learning scripts and courses
  • Ensures grammar, accuracy, consistency and flow of content are consistent with quality standards
  • Tests functionality of eLearning module by ensuring multimedia, interactive elements and other functionality is working properly
  • Reviews, proofs and tests training curriculum, including, but not limited to, eLearning, lesson plans, technical documentation, project documentation, outlines, handouts, course workbooks, tests and practice exercises; suggests edits
  • Collaborates with other departments to discuss quality feedback
  • Completes and submits feedback using an automated workflow application
  • In collaboration with the Senior, develops new content standards, style guide elements, and review guidelines/checklists, as needed
  • Review, update, and improve existing review processes, such as the QA submission process and related documentation, including how-to’s and process flows.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a minimum of three years editing or auditing content experience.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems is required.
  • Research and editing skills are necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, is required.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines simultaneously is required
  • Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are essential.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect, and upholding Company values are key attributes.
  • In addition, organizational and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

 

Educational Requirements:

  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Additional college-level classes are beneficial.

 

Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

 

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime (more than forty hours per week) may be necessary.
