Under general supervision, coordinates construction scheduling and logistics of materials and equipment for new and existing stores.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares construction and equipment “Request for Quotes” (RFQs)/ Bids; gathers and organizes bid materials; reviews service agreements; including but not limited to, telecommunications and data lines, lighting, HVAC, equipment and flooring.
  • Notifies vendors/suppliers of upcoming projects, assists with the biding process and prepares purchase orders; sends final construction drawings to the approved vendor.
  • Acts as a liaison between vendors and construction project management concerning bids, subcontracting, progress and delays.
  • Handles and maintains construction documentation related to budgets, estimates, scheduling, timelines and obstacle resolution.
  • Monitors construction progress, ensures materials, equipment and workers are available for each phase of the project and on schedule for store opening.
  • Organizes and maintains store opening schedule process; communicates progress or obstacles with internal and external key stakeholder and prepares travel planning schedules with owner furnished subcontractors to install flooring, cabinetry, racking and store equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex construction logistics and/or obstacles.
  • Trains and coaches Construction Specialist I.
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.
  • Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to Construction processes, procedures and services.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements


  • This position requires minimum of three years construction administration, logistics or real estate experience in an office environment is required.
  • Proficiency in Real Estate Management Software is required; TRIRIGA required.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify moderately complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions is essential.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft office, including skills with Word and Excel, are necessary.
  • This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
  • Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential.
  • In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values is key.


Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. 

Additional college level construction, real estate or business related classes are beneficial.


Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.


Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime (more than forty hours per week) may be necessary.
