The Nurse Case Manager Specialist / RN assists in Case Management and supporting patient health initiatives throughout Discount Tire and America’s Tire regions


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive case management services in a timely manner, including, but not limited to the following: intake assessment, communicating with other staff and health professionals, obtaining necessary authorizations, transfer of medical records, and providing additional medical resources.
  • Work with Discount Tire staff to help navigate and comprehend medical terminology, physician diagnoses and recommendations.
  • Participate in the Executive Health Department initiatives and programs.
  • Contribute and lead departmental meetings and trainings.
  • Liaison between Discount Tire and physicians/hospitals.
  • Maintain confidentiality; maintain current on required training and certifications.
  • Maintain, update and keep accurate documentation.
  • Adhere to company policy, procedures and professional code of ethics
  • Participate in departmental staff meetings, training and accept responsibility for aiding in the development of positive team relationships.
  • Learn, live and promote the Discount Tire culture.

Job Requirements


  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Arizona.
  • Ten years of recent consecutive nursing practice.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with individuals in crisis.
  • Organized and able to handle a large case load with ongoing follow up.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.


Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.


Work Hours:

Normal work hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (On-Call Status).  Additional hours may be necessary.
