The Digital Marketing / Analytics Specialist ensures media spend is optimized across multiple channels; paid search, social media, display and video networks, affiliate networks and programmatic buying.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivates new partnerships and publisher relationships; determines optimum partner mix
  • Ensures sales quality audits are completed timely and correctly
  • Recommends optimum use of digital channels to achieve marketing objectives
  • Recommends and validates research tests, including, but not limited to, ad copy, landing page, bid, geo and network
  • Analyzes, determines, and validates publisher reports; makes preliminary recommendations determining the Company’s intended audiences; targets audiences accordingly
  • Develops, optimizes and reports on the overall advertising strategy to support general marketing performance data
  • Ensures a diverse portfolio of publishers is maintained; portfolio contains publishers that specialize in display, social, email, pay per click (PPC) promotion methods with traffic on cost per acquisition / cost per conversion (CPA/CPC) models
  • Ensures that tag management techniques and strategies are implemented and consistent with marketing strategy
  • Executes marketing automation program, including, but not limited to, email marketing campaigns, building landing pages and forms, uploading lists and building segments
  • Ensures campaign budget is on pace; takes action on anomalies
  • Analyzes media spend datasets to create reports gauging how current campaigns are tracking against pre-defined targets and goals; ensures alignment with Company objectives
  • Ensures digital media buying strategy is adapted to a real-time bidding environment
  • Studies and leverages demographic data, consumer profiles and media research tools; develops and recommends media strategies
  • Mentors, coaches and trains Digital Marketing team
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies, recommends and implements new technologies
  • Assists employees, vendors and customers by answering questions related to digital marketing
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Digital marketing or digital media planning experience; advertising agency experience and/or corporate retail experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise negotiating digital ad rates and vendor commissions is required.
  • Proven experience working third party tracking platforms, including, but not limited to, Google AdWords, FBX, DoubleClick or Signal is necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience with social platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, as well as a comprehensive understanding of new media and online marketing trends in a multi-site corporate retail environment is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of analytics and reporting tools is necessary; Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics and Facebook Insights preferred.
  • Experience using DSP and/or other forms of programmatic media buying is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO factors from a technical perspective, including, but not limited to, web strategies designed to maximize organic visits, rankings and overall hits is necessary.
  • Demonstrated understanding of website design best practices is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering data, analyzing situations and making recommendations is necessary.
  • Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing is required.
  • The ability to work within a team and serve as a trusted expert for assigned duties is necessary.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and motivate self and others while managing multiple projects and meeting various deadlines simultaneously is required.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.
  • In addition, organizational and problem solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.


Educational Requirements:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, digital culture or a related field or equivalent experience; Google AdWords/Analytics Certification is required.


Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.


Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary
