Channel Management Analyst II

Under general supervision the Channel Management Analyst II will maintain, monitor and report findings of internal and external sales fulfillment channel flows, wholesale Cross-dock distribution centers as an example. Requires cross-functional collaboration with our Distribution and Logistics, Inventory Management and Merchandising departments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner cross functionally to capture and include appropriate data and information input for effective scenario modeling.
- Tracks, monitors and reports inventory tracking system for appropriate in-stock levels for Web and store visibility.
- Identifies root causes for fulfillment gaps
- Tracks, monitors and reports Sales & Operations planning & fulfilment performance.
- Based on statistical findings provide recommendations to optimize logistic costs.
- Reviews purchasing reports, and freight expense reports to work with Merchandising and Inventory Management for product optimization to mitigate expense and bring product closer to our consumers.
- Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies
- Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to Supply Chain Fulfillment procedures and services
- Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service
- Performs standard and ad hoc detailed analysis for planning & fulfillment metrics (inventory incl. sales in excess of invoicing, on-time delivery, lead-time, forecast accuracy, resource utilization).
- Use corporate reporting tools (Bex, Microstrategy, and SAP) to analyze and report logistics findings to the business
- Reviews purchasing and freight expense reports to work with Merchandising and Inventory Management to optimize product optimization to mitigate expense and bring product closer to our consumers
- Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies
- Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service

Qualifications:
- This position requires a minimum of three years of Supply chain fundamentals such as: inventory management, Distribution & Logistics and Sales and Operations Planning methodologies.
- Conducting tracking and data analysis.
- Proven oral and written communication skills.
- Retail and Supply Chain industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to analyze and summarize complex data sets.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Work Days:
Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.
Work Hours:
Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
