The Graphic Designer II, under general direction, creates, develops and lays out marketing material.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produces and designs complex marketing materials, including but not limited to, advertising, direct mail, websites, social media, market events material and in-store point-of-purchase signage.
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Prepares finished designs based on feedback.
  • Produces and designs for internal communications.
  • Assesses stakeholder design needs; designs according to company specifications and regional criteria.
  • Coaches Graphic Designer I's.
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.
  • Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to the design processes, procedures and services.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • This position requires a minimum of 3 years graphic design and production experience in an advertising environment.
  • Corporate retail experience preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to follow direction, and have strong layout and design skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office, including skills with Word and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Adobe CC including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat required.
  • Working knowledge with Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS preferred.
  • Working knowledge of conceptualization, color, typography, and composition graphic design practices is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong listening skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work within a team is essential.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
  • In addition troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
  • Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential.


Educational Requirements:

This position requires Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts or equivalent training and experience.
