Senior Workforce Systems Analyst

Under minimal supervision, the Senior Workforce Systems Analyst is responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the UKG Pro platform to support workforce operations, HR, and payroll. This role focuses heavily on system configuration, integrations, reporting/analytics, troubleshooting, and ensuring data accuracy across the HR technology ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • UKG Pro Platform Management
  • Configure and maintain UKG Pro modules (Timekeeping, WFM, etc.) including workflows, business rules, security settings, and system preferences.
  • Ensure system updates, patches, and enhancements are tested and implemented successfully.
  • Manage table setups, fields, user access, roles, and configuration changes.
  • Integrations & Data Management
  • Administer integration between UKG Pro and internal/external systems (e.g. Workday).
  • Monitor automated data feeds, troubleshoot errors, and ensure ongoing data integrity.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to design and maintain APIs, SFTP feeds, and middleware connections.
  • Support, Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for UKG Pro system issues and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot functional and technical problems and coordinate resolution with UKG support when needed.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and maximize UKG capabilities.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration notes, data flow diagrams, and SOPs.
  • Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner with HR, Operations, Payroll, and IT to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions.
  • Support end-users with training, knowledge-sharing, and materials.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to HR/Operations systems and workflows.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Build, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using UKG Pro reporting tools or Data Hub.
  • Provide actionable analytics to HR, Finance, Operations, and leadership teams.
  • Translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years' experience with UKG Pro configuration, reporting, and/or administration.
  • Experience completing at least one full implementation of UKG Pro Timekeeping or Advanced Scheduling, and integration with Workday or UKG Pro Payroll is required.
  • Experience managing integrations and troubleshooting data feeds is necessary.
  • Strong reporting/analytics skills within UKG Pro (BI, Data Hub, or equivalent) required.
  • Understanding of HR, payroll, or workforce management processes is required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with APIs, SFTP, or HR integrations middleware preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR data governance, security, and compliance standards preferred.
  • Project or change management experience preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Visio.
  • Experience with Tableau a plus.
  • Able to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines accurately, and maintain a professional demeanor while working independently is crucial.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are required, including the ability to manage and respond effectively to various customer situations while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Adaptability to change requirements is essential.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect, and upholding company values are fundamental expectations.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree Information Systems, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degree is beneficial.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.

Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
