General Description:

Under immediate supervision, the Training Logistics Coordinator provides administrative support to the Learning and Development Team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and schedules training, including, but not limited to, class schedules, room schedules, facilitator schedules, attendee schedules, travel, materials, equipment and refreshments 
  • Distributes communication materials, including, but not limited to, training materials, communications, project schedules and vendor/consultant templates, using the correct media 
  • Administers software licenses 
  • Reviews, proofs and tests training curriculum, including, but not limited to, eLearning, lesson plans, technical documentation, outlines, handouts, course workbooks, tests and practice exercises; suggests edits 
  • Creates and maintains records in the Learning Management System (LMS), including, but not limited to, employee progress and training activities 
  • Creates and maintains schedules in LMS 
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies 
  • Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to training processes, procedures and services 
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service 
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • This position requires a minimum of one year administrative experience.
  • Training administration experience preferred.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems software is preferred.
  • Customer service skills—including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude—are essential.
  • Experience in reviewing and editing training material is required.
  • This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • The ability to develop analytical skills is required.
  • The ability to develop quality assurance skills is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is necessary.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well both independently and in a team is essential.
  • In addition, organizational and problem solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.


Educational Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or GED. Additional college level Education or Instructional Design-related courses are beneficial. 


Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary. 


Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime (more than forty hours per week) may be necessary.
