Low Price Analyst - Part Time

Under direct supervision, the Low Price Analyst monitors and validates all facets of competitor retails and market trends and ensures that pricing for all products within a market accurately reflects the organization's pricing strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures that pricing for all products within a market is accurate and accurately reflects the pricing strategy administered by the region or organization.
• Regularly reviews prices to ensure accuracy, initiates price changes and ensures that all items are accurately updated promptly.
• Conducts competitive price checks for markets, identifying and documenting any sales promotions, new products or brands being carried by competitors.
• Responsible for Employee Cost calls, New Article Verification, Purchase Price Verification, and RPM Margin checks.
• Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Company store experience or Tire industry experience is preferred.
• Basic level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, is necessary.
• This position requires excellent communication, organizational, customer service and problem solving skills.
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
• Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential.
• In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
• Treating others with respect and upholding Company values is key.

Educational Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime (more than forty hours per week) may be necessary.
